Frédéric Chopin – The Master of the Nocturnes – Chopin on Guitar and Mandolin

Some time ago I have discovered a beautiful piece for piano in a web radio program. I was immediately fascinated by this music and found out that is was the Nocturne No. 21 by Frédéric Chopin.

I had to search for more videos of this piece, and so I discovered also the Nocturne No. 20 which is also very beautiful. The following playlist contains some beautiful recordings of the Nocturnes No. 20 and No. 21.

The pieces by Chopin have always been arranged for other instruments. The previous playlist does also contain an arrangement for violin and piano played by Itzhak Perlman, and another transcription for guitar.

The next playlist contains a selection of arrangements of pieces by Chopin for guitar:

In my third playlist I have collected some videos of pieces by Chopin played on mandolin, bandurria, bandolim, domra or balalaika.
