New Videos by the Mandolinenclub Falkenstein, conducted by Natalia Alencova

The mandolin orchestra Mandolinenclub Falkenstein was founded in 1925. In 1965 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary the orchestra organized fir the first time an international competition for mandolin orchestras. Other competitions were organized over the years. Currently the orchestra consists of ca. 20 members.

The orchestra was conducted by Keith Harris between 2001 and 2009. Recently Natalia Alencova, a mandolinist and domra player originally from Russia and now living in Germany has taken over the direction of this orchestra.

The orchestra played a concert in Berlin on October 18th, and has uploaded three interesting videos from this concert to its youtube channel.
