Pete Seeger has produced the Rainbow Quest series of TV shows in 1965 and 1966. This is a great documentation about the folk music of the 60s. I found this when I searched for videos of Richard Farina, and I have watched some other episodes too. Those videos show many singers, songwriters, folk bands, bluegrass bands – and in one episode Pete Seeger does event demonstrate how to play some simple songs on the banjo.
Since I started to search for Rainbow Quest episodes most of the episodes were uploaded to youtube – so now you can watch hours of great folk music! You can use my playlist or watch the complete episodes in the Rainbow Quest youtube channel.
