Each week musicians meet for a session with folk tunes from Cape Breton. The music which is regularly played is available as a book of sheet music with today 52 sets of three to six tunes each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recordings from the Cape Breton Session have been made available in the youtube channel. As an example I have selected the following video with a slow tune that&#8217;s a favorite of mine &#8211; <strong>Hector the Hero<\/strong>. The text for the video says: <em>&#8220;Parker Duchemin, one of the regulars at the session plays Hector the Hero for a visiting friend of his.
