Madeira has a long tradition of mandolin orchestras.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016 the first <strong>Madeira Mandolin Festival<\/strong> took place. I have found several great videos made during this festival with the <strong>Edu Miranda Trio<\/strong>, <strong>Lu\u00eds Peixoto<\/strong> and <strong>Norberto Cruz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Edu Miranda Trio is playing some great Choros, Lu\u00eds Peixoto plays two solo pieces on the cavaquinho, and Norberto Cruz plays a Sonata by Carlos Seixas.<\/p>\n<h4>Playlist Madeira Mandolin Festival 2016<\/h4>\n<div class=\"ast-oembed-container \" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"1\u00ba Festival Internacional de Bandolins da Madeira - 1st.
