This year more than 2000 artists took part in the festival from 21 Jan &#8211; 5 Feb 2017<\/p>\n<p>Many of my favorite artists and bands were part of the festival:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kathy Fink &amp; Marcy Marxer<\/li>\n<li>Derek Gripper<\/li>\n<li>Tommy Emmanuel<\/li>\n<li>Maro O&#8217;Connor with his Family Band<\/li>\n<li>Jayme Stone<\/li>\n<li>Sarah Jarosz<\/li>\n<li>Hamilton de Holanda<\/li>\n<li>Laura Marling<\/li>\n<li>Julie Fowlis<\/li>\n<li>Eliza Carthy<\/li>\n<li>Wildwood Kin<\/li>\n<li>Mike Compton<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And I had the chance to find some gret new bands that I did not know before:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"story-body__crosshead\">Slododan Trkulja and Balkanopolis<\/li>\n<li class=\"story-body__crosshead\">Breabach<\/li>\n<li class=\"story-body__crosshead\">Darlingside<\/li>\n<li class=\"story-body__crosshead\">Atlantic Arc Orchestra<\/li>\n<li class=\"story-body__crosshead\">Karan Casey Band<\/li>\n<li class=\"story-body__crosshead\">Le Vent du Nord and De Temps Antan<\/li>\n<li class=\"story-body__crosshead\">Talisk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have collected videos from the Celtic Connections 2017 in the following playlist.
