{"id":433,"date":"2009-12-03T12:36:23","date_gmt":"2009-12-03T10:36:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mandoisland.com\/?p=433"},"modified":"2018-01-05T12:04:21","modified_gmt":"2018-01-05T10:04:21","slug":"maria-linnemann-beautiful-music-for-the-guitar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mandoisland.com\/?p=433","title":{"rendered":"Maria Linnemann &#8211; Beautiful music for the Guitar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am currently playing some pieces by <strong>Maria Linnemann<\/strong> on the guitar, and so I thought it would be interesting to present some of her beautiful pieces in my blog.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maria Linnemann<\/strong> has composed hundreds of pieces for the guitar,\u00a0 including many pieces for beginners that are quite easy to play, but sound beautiful, and so are very useful for teaching the guitar. Some of her compositions were used in the guitar methods by <strong>Heinz Teuchert<\/strong>. When I was teaching the guitar many years ago I have often used her easy folk pieces (Leichte Folklorest\u00fccke) .<\/p>\n<p>I have always liked to play her pieces, some of her compositions belong to my favorite and often played guitar pieces. One of my long time favorite of her pieces is <strong>Our Time<\/strong>.
