The very special about this orchestra is that the members of this group are five old ladies aged between 78 and 85 years. Mestras no chorinho, marchinhas e sambas, elas ficaram conhecidas como Bandolineiras de Oeiras. Mesmo no isolamento cultural em que viviam, a cidade sempre teve uma s\u00f3lida tradi\u00e7\u00e3o musical.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div id=\"conteudoNoticia\">\n<blockquote><p>Na d\u00e9cada de 30 do s\u00e9culo passado, Araci Carvalho, ex\u00edmia bandolinista, dava aulas de m\u00fasica para as mo\u00e7as da cidade, chegando a criar um conjunto, o Voz do Cora\u00e7\u00e3o. Este of\u00edcio era desenvolvido tamb\u00e9m por outras senhoras da cidade, como Maria Queiroz e Fil\u00f3 Carvalho. Ao lado delas, os maestros das bandas de m\u00fasicos completavam o quadro que fazia a fama de Oeiras. Apesar da tradi\u00e7\u00e3o, os tempos mudaram e os alunos foram rareando, j\u00e1 muito menos interessados no estudo do bandolim. \u201cFaltava incentivo, motiva\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, entendiam as professoras. Foi na prepara\u00e7\u00e3o das festividades pelos 250 anos da Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Vit\u00f3ria, em 1983, que algumas das antigas bandolinistas resolveram reviver os bons tempos: se reuniram para mostrar um repert\u00f3rio pr\u00f3prio, sob a coordena\u00e7\u00e3o da professora Celina Martins. Estavam l\u00e1 Lil\u00e1sia Freitas, Petinha Amorim, Zez\u00e9 Cabeceira, Ros\u00e1rio Lemos e Nieta Maranh\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>A fama das senhoras bandolineiras (um neologismo surgido da aglutina\u00e7\u00e3o das palavras bandolins e Oieiras) utrapassou fronteiras. Em concerto no Festival de Cultura das Tr\u00eas Fronteiras, no Paraguai, as senhoras, cujas idades variam entre 78 e 85 anos, foram recebidas com entusiasmo e mostravam igual alegria por ser aquela a primeira vez que saiam de sua cidade natal. Um cr\u00edtico local dizia que elas pareciam perdidas no meio do enorme cen\u00e1rio negro, elas igualmente vestidas de preto, destacando-se apenas as figuras delgadas com seus cabelos muito brancos. Tudo come\u00e7ou a mudar quando come\u00e7aram a tocar seus instrumentos, segundo ele, uma m\u00fasica doce, com ares medievais e ecos portugueses, que mostraram a incr\u00edvel vitalidade da m\u00fasica brasileira. Eles estavam diante de um verdadeiro patrim\u00f4nio nacional.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>From the title of this video you can see that this video was the second in a series of 8 videos.
