I am sure that I have attended one of his concerts in the 70s in Freiburg. An interesting fact that I have found in a blog about Sebastiao Tapajos is that he played a concert as a repetition of one of his concerts in the university in Freiburg. The original concert took place in 1975, it was repeated 35 years later.<\/p>\n<p>I have found 3 videos from the Talentos series where Sebastiao Tapajos is accompanied by two young Brazilian guitarists.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the concert with Sebastiao Tapajos!<\/p>\n<h4>Talentos &#8211; Tapaj\u00f3s (violonista)<\/h4>\n<blockquote><p>Tapaj\u00f3s se apresenta ao lado dos jovens violonistas brasilienses <strong>Rafael dos Anjos e Henrique Neto<\/strong>. O programa foi gravado nos est\u00fadios da TV C\u00e2mara, e o repert\u00f3rio \u00e9 composto pelas mais recentes composi\u00e7\u00f5es do grande violonista brasileiro.<\/p>\n<p>Paraense de Santar\u00e9m, Sebasti\u00e3o Tapaj\u00f3s come\u00e7ou a estudar viol\u00e3o aos nove anos de idade, tendo seu pai como professor. Mudou-se para Bel\u00e9m e depois, em 1963, para o Rio, sempre continuando os estudos de viol\u00e3o cl\u00e1ssico. Em 1964 foi para Portugal, onde se formou no Conservat\u00f3rio Nacional de M\u00fasica de Lisboa. Depois estudou na Espanha com o famoso mestre Emilio Pujol, formando-se no Instituto de Cultura Hisp\u00e2nica. Depois de completar os estudos, voltou primeiro para Bel\u00e9m e depois para o Rio, procurando iniciar uma carreira de concertista. O evento que deu impulso decisivo \u00e0 sua carreira foi a execu\u00e7\u00e3o da obra-prima de Villa-Lobos, o Concerto para Viol\u00e3o e Pequena Orquestra, com a Orquestra Sinf\u00f4nica Nacional no Teatro Municipal do Rio. A partir da\u00ed seguiram-se v\u00e1rios convites para concertos no Brasil e no exterior.<\/p>\n<p>Nos anos seguintes, Tapaj\u00f3s foi mergulhando cada vez mais na m\u00fasica brasileira, tanto como compositor quanto como int\u00e9rprete, pesquisando ritmos e temas populares e folcl\u00f3ricos.
