He was 87 years old.<\/p>\n<p>He was still performing 40 weeks every year and just came from a concert when the accident happened.<\/p>\n<p>Eddie Kirkland started playing the guitar and performing at an early age of 12 years &#8211; so he has been an active musician for 75 years.
