The Purple Hulls<\/strong> is the name of a young trio with Ben Clark and his sisters Penny and Katy. I enjoyed the videos of this group very much. The Purple Hulls are playing traditional bluegrass and own compositions in the traditional bluegrass style. Ben Clark lives in Nashville and has already played with stars like Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n

I am a professional musician and songwriter…originally from East Texas, now out of Nashville, TN. I moved here in the fall of ’04 and have been blessed enough to make a living. I’ve played piano, guitar, mandolin, banjo, dobro, and fiddle for numerous country artists such as Matt Jenkins, Lila McCann, Josh Gracin, Craig Morgan, and most recently Taylor Swift. I’ve recently signed a publishing deal, along with my two sisters, at Sony here in Nashville. We’re excited to be writing for our first country project!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is our version of Gold Rush. I’m on the mandolin, my twins sis is on banjo, and my older brother Ben is on guitar.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
