Some days ago I have discovered the videos of a Spanish orchestra:\u00a0 La Orden de la Terraza<\/a><\/p>\n

This orchestra was founded in the region of Logrono \/ Rioja \/ Spain in the 70s. In Logrono every year a big festival of plucked instrument music takes place.<\/p>\n

The performance of\u00a0 Beyond the Rainbow<\/strong> by Yasuo Kuwahara<\/strong> has fascinated me immediately, and I had to listen to this for several times.<\/p>\n

This orchestra plays excellent and very precise. The orchestra is composed of the typical Spanish plucked instruments bandurria and laud and guitars.<\/p>\n

Yasuo Kuwahara was a Japanese mandolin player and composer. He has composed many pieces for plucked strings ensembles and also for mandolin solo.<\/p>\n
