But he has also published a series of collections for the mandolin. I do possess 5 books with compositions for the mandolin by Joseph Rico and I have just made a video with one of the pieces.<\/p>\n<p>When I played through one of the books a piece named <strong>Schottisch Indiscr\u00e8te<\/strong> was the one that I liked immediately. A Schottisch is a dance similar to a Poka, and is also seen as a predecessor of the Ragtime. This composition is also contained in one of the mandolin books that I own. Rico)<br \/>\n(Valse Chant\u00e9e)<br \/>\n(avec accompagnement  d&#8217;Orchestre)<br \/>\nMr. B\u00e9rard<br \/>\nde l&#8217;Eldorado, Paris<\/p>\n<p>Disque Od\u00e9on,  chanson n\u00b0 60518<br \/>\nca. 1907<\/p>\n<p>Encore une chanson d&#8217;Adolphe B\u00e9rard,  mais j&#8217;aime beaucoup ce chanteur. D&#8217;abord parce qu&#8217;il a une voix qu&#8217;on  reconnait tout de suite, et aussi pour les chansons qu&#8217;il chante. Ici,  c&#8217;est une chanson m\u00e9lodramatique, une valse typique de la Belle Epoque,  et un \u00e9norme succ\u00e8s en 1907 (\u00e0 un tel point que 50 plus tard, &#8220;J&#8217;ai tant  pleur\u00e9&#8221; \u00e9tait encore enregistr\u00e9 par R\u00e9da Caire et Andr\u00e9 Dassary!).  Cette valse a \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9 par Dickson, mais la version enregistr\u00e9 la  plus connue est sans doute celle de B\u00e9rard, qui date de 1907\/1908. Un  des succ\u00e8s de B\u00e9rard dans son registre &#8220;chanteur de charme&#8221;. L&#8217;interpr\u00e9tation de Marjal est plus r\u00e9cente (!!!) bien entendu. Des infos sur Marjal???
