Mozart<\/strong> can currently be viewed on the homepage of Arte. This is a video from a performance in Aix-en-Provence from beginning of July. I like this version very much, and can recommend it to everybody who loves operas by Mozart.<\/p>\n<p>Don Giovanni is my favorite opera, and I have played the Canzonetta several times on the opera stage. This is really a prefect composition for an aria with mandolin accompanyment.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>J\u00e9r\u00e9mie Rhorer conducts the Cercle de l&#8217;Harmonie in Don Giovanni, an opera composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), staging by Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Sivadier, with Philippe Sly in the main role of Don Giovanni, Nahuel di Pierro in Leproello, Eleonora Buratto in Donna Anna, Pavol Breslik in Don Ottavio, Isabel Leonard in Donna Elvira, Julie Fuchs inZerlina, Krzysztof Baczyk in Masetto and David Leigh in Commendatore.
