This blog is intended as an English version of my blog gezupftes.de.<\/a><\/p>\n

I am collecting usefull information about the mandolin<\/strong>, the guitar<\/strong> and other plucked instruments<\/strong> from all over the world with interesting youtube videos.<\/p>\n

I have started the German blog gezupftes.de some time ago as an addon for my homepage mandoisland.de<\/a>. MandoIsland<\/strong> has grown for many years and is a source for information about the mandolin and its music, from classical and Brazilian choro to Jazz and Bluegrass.<\/p>\n

During the years many links to interesting sites have been collected, and a lot of information ahs been compiled, mainly in German, but a big part has already been translated to English.<\/p>\n

With youtube it is now very easy to find sources for all kind of music and artists. In my blog I am collecting interesting videos and additional information about topics like the Chinese plucked instruments, classical guitar videos, newcommer bands, the Kretan lute, the Venezuelan bandola llanera and cuatro …..<\/p>\n

I will translate the most interesting posts from the last year to English step by step, so please come again and see whats new.<\/p>\n
