LEVANTE Mandolin Orchestra 6th Concert in Morioka, JAPAN. 20th March 2011
The LEVANTE Mandolin Orchestra is located in the North-East of Japan. It has uploaded videos of the program of the last concert on March 20th 2011 in Morioka.
The program of the 6th concert included the following pieces:

- Rail Road Song, Y. KUWAHARA
- Gayne Ballet Music “Lezghinka”, A. I. KHACHATURIAN / arr. by Y. OANA – with percussion
- Sicilienne, G. U. FAURÈ / arr. by H. ENDO
- Clair de Lune, C. A. DEBUSSY / arr. by Y. OANA
- Golliwog’s Cakewalk , C. A. DEBUSSY / arr. by Y. OANA
- “Dark eyes”, Russian folk song / arr. by T. KUBOTA
- To Love You More, D. W. FOSTER / arr. by Y. SATO
Some of the pieces were played with the complete orchestra, other pieces like the Railroad Song by Kuwahara were played by a smaller group of the orchestra. I enjoyed listening to this great concert very much. The orchestra plays with a lot of energy and enthusiasm.
